Barque on Air

As we were scouring burnt rice from anodised aluminium today at the Barque homebase, we were enchanted to hear in conversation with Libby Purves on Radio 4's Midweek who other than our own CHRIS GOODE, talking about his new one-man show, which promises to transform your own ordinary bungalow into .

And a few hours later, rice still unmoved, we were teased to bewildered tears by the promise that tomorrow's Woman's Hour will be broadcasting from Manchester, and feature a package in which SONIC PLEASURE, aka Marie Angelique Bueller, concrete partner of Barque author THF Drenching, will play her bricks. In the words of the Fenland Hi-Brow Recordings website, "Sonic Pleasure, cashing in on her economic, social and biological status as an indisputable WOMAN, will be the subject of a short feature on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour." Listen out tomorrow.
